Grandparents Visitation Counseling ... is a program for grandparents who are seeking visitation rights of their grandchildren in non-intact family situations. GRC works with the whole family, through mediation, to resolve any conflicts or disagreements causing arrest in grandparental visiting relations with their grandchildren. If no resolution is arrived at, or if a party does not want to go through mediation only then do we offer the choice for legal proceedings for a petiton to court for grandparents visitation. Visitation with grandchildren in foster care placement requires intervention

in court. GRC discopurages courtroom proceedings as often as possible for visitation in the biological family (even if it is non-intact) We use court proceedings as the last resort when all efforts to resolve the issue through mediation fails or if such visitation pertains to foster care placement.

 Family Group Conferencing ... is designed to bring grandparents and families within the extended family together to discuss better placement for children who may be at risk in the immediate family households. This program also aids in resolving conflicts regarding grandparents seeking visitation rights to their grandchildren.
